Queremos Vivir En Caracas (2024)

Queremos Vivir En Caracas, loosely translated to We Want to Live In Caracas (possibly in a sarcastic manner), is a Dumb Ways to Die parody by the Venezuelan YouTuber of a similar name, Quierovivir enCaracas. This parody mentions the dangers of life in Caracas, and the corruption of the city, or Venezuela in general.

Plot[]

Numpty is handed money by Numskull off-screen in a bank. The camera pans inside the bank, and Numskull calls the Hunter to shoot Numpty before he can leave. Hapless is then walking along a sidewalk, before Phoney decapitates him, taking his bottom half with the motorcycle. After the first chorus, Mishap is driving in his car on a road filled with holes. He dodges two, before he falls down a huge hole, smashing him and his car. Stupe is getting off a bus, and Phoney decapitates him. After the second chorus, Dummkopf is picking some wires, before getting electrocuted again. Dimwit (who is female as opposed to the original one who is male) is then walking out of a building, before her breasts fall off due to poor plastic surgery. After the third chorus, Lax arrives at a military site, where he is forced to stop his car. Clod notices and shoots him. Calamity is holding some toilet paper and jumps happily, before a group of protesters dogpile her. After the fourth chorus, Pillock is getting a rash due to his inability to find medicine, and throws up before falling over. Ninny is driving his car while texting someone by an unseen character, Stumble is listening to music, and Dunce is dancing with his money. All three are shot down and are seen falling, and Ninny's car is still rolling over.

  • Pillock (got several rashes on his body, and threw up because he couldn't find any medicine to heal his illness)

  • Stumble (missing his hair, shot down while he's listening to his music)
• Tratar de comprar, unos dólares y aqui resulta que eso es pecado mortal

Glitches[]

• When Numpty is shot, his card abruptly flies out of his hand.
  • The same happens when Calamity is dogpiled.
• Hapless' bottom half disappears for a couple frames while he is walking.
  • Part of his eye also comes off his face.
• Numpty is dancing a little earlier than Hapless in the first chorus.
• The Standard Dancers originally start swaying their arms as soon as they are done jumping, but here they almost wait until they've stopped singing.
• Due to the way the mouths were animated, the characters' mouths often change from smiling to frowning when they sing the chorus.
• The lyrics say Mishap is committing suicide, but he is clearly seen trying to dodge the holes.
• Stupe stopped moving before Phoney decapitated him.
  • How would he even get off the bus like that?
  • His head disappears when Phoney does so.
    • However, he is still seen with his head intact in the chorus.
• Some of the yellow paint on the Bus goes off it on the right, and doesn't fully touch the edge on the left.
• The Secondary Dancers clap earlier than they are supposed to.
• While the narrator songs "terminar asi", All Secondary Dancers Move their bodies slower than they shoud
• In some parts of the chorus, Dimwit's arms are detached from her body.
• Lax is able to stop his car when he is shot, although Ninny isn't.
• The unnamed purple bean moves slightly to the right when Doofus joins the dogpile.
• Lax songs later than the others after the first pause.
  • If one looks looks closely, his mouth stops moving after he says "En Caracas", so he is singing the wrong lyric after the wrong pause.
• When Pillock throws up on the screen, his arms are not connected to his body.
• Stumble's phone is missing from his headphones in the chorus.
• Pillock's head doesn't turn with the rest of his body.
• Stupe sings later than the others after the second pause, although he is singing the right lyric.
• Mishap is singing off-sync in the credits.

Trivia[]

• Out of all the beans from the original song, Putz is the only one to not appear in any sort of form, let alone even a cameo.
• All of the group two characters in the original song died consecutively.
  • Stupe in the last line of Group 2, Dummkopf and Dimwit in Group 3, and Lax in the beginning of group 4.
• Every character who died from eating something also died consecutively.
  • Lax and Calamity in Group 4, and Pillock starting the beidge)
• The two common mascots of the original Dumb Ways to Die, Numpty and Dunce, are the first and last lines of the song respectively.
  • Both also hold money before they die.
  • Both were shot by the Hunter.
